Rabbani Kenyon
Clarke William Kenyon, more commonly known as Rabbani, is well known for his amazing ability to turn a solid piece of redwood into work of art. Known as the Noyo Harbor Carver, Rabbani and his wife Cleo owned and managed a working studio and gallery called, “The Studio” in Noyo Harbor fishing village on the north side of Noyo River for 26 years before moving to Elk.
Rabbani hails from New Hampshire, but was raised in Southern California. He earned a Bachelor and Masters of Fine Arts from the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, CA.
Most nice days you can see him working on his carvings in front of the gardens at the Artists’ Collective building.
